2018 Jeep Renegade Trim Levels
Known for their durability and toughness, Jeep vehicles are fun to drive and bring you closer to your next adventure. The 2018 Jeep Renegade is no different, as drivers in Chicago, Skokie, Park Ridge, and Forest Park can experience.
At Marino Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram, we’ve put together this overview of the 2018 Renegade, and the different trim levels offered for this model. Each trim has its own specialties and features, but still offers the same dependable ride you’ve come to expect from your favorite vehicles. Read on below to learn more about each trim and discover why this SUV might be your next ride.
The base edition, the Renegade Sport features Bluetooth® streaming audio and hands-free calling, allowing you to keep your eyes on the road. The ParkView® rear back up camera also comes standard, so it’s easy to see behind the vehicle when you back out of a parking space or your driveway.
The base engine is a 1.4L turbo engine and provides up to 24 MPG in the city and 31 MPG on the highway when mated to the standard manual transmission, while providing a sporty 160 horsepower. Hill Start Assist technology comes standard, which prevents the car from rolling back when starting from a stagnant position on a hill.
Step up to the Latitude and enjoy dual zone temperature control inside the cabin, which ensures both driver and front passenger are comfortable at all times. A leather-wrapped steering wheel is added on this trim, which provides better grip while driving and gives the cabin a sportier appearance. A 7-inch touchscreen is found in this trim, an upgrade over the Renegade Sport, which comes standard with a 5-inch screen.
This trim also allows for the option to add Jeep’s “Cold Weather Group” package, providing the best cold-weather features, including heated front seats and a heated steering wheel. This package also includes rain-sensing wipers that turn on when the first drops are detected.
With striking 18-inch gloss black wheels, the Altitude stands out when first glancing at it. The entire exterior is covered in high-gloss black exterior accents and the interior is, too. This trim comes with the Uconnect® 4 technology with 7-inch touchscreen standard, and features Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™ technology.
The exterior mirrors will match whatever body color you choose and come with supplemental turn signals so other cars know what move you’re making next.
While each trim is ready for any off-road situation, this TrailRated® Jeep is perhaps the most adventure-ready option. The Jeep® Active Drive Low 4×4 system is standard, and Rock Mode is part of the Traction Management System, a feature exclusive to the Trailhawk trim.
The traction management system lets you set the road condition (auto, snow, sand, mud, or rock) and take on surfaces other than just pavement. The peppier 2.4L 4-cylinder engine provides a quiet, refined ride, and 180 horsepower.
The heated front seats and heated steering wheel come standard on the Limited trim, along with a 7-inch display cluster in the dash area that provides plenty of vehicle information. The standard 115-volt auxiliary power outlet is helpful for those out in the wilderness. Use this outlet to plug in small electronics to bring a few amenities from home on a camping trip.
The 8-way power-adjustable driver seat with 4-way lumbar support puts you in control of your drive and adds comfort, particularly on drives that may be a bit longer.
