Moving onto the 6.4L engine, you’ll find this on the SRT 392 trim, which is only available in an all-wheel drive configuration. This engine again reaches 8,700 pounds of towing capacity and can produce up to 475 horsepower and 470 lb-ft of torque.

The Supercharged 6.2L engine really knocks it out of the park with power. You’ll find this one standard on the highest trim level, the SRT Hellcat, which also is only available in all-wheel drive. In addition to the maximum towing capacity of 8,700 pounds, it will also get you an incredible 710 horsepower and 645 lb-ft of torque.

Dodge Durango Other Towing Capacities

Dodge Durango SpecsAlthough the Durango has a maximum towing capacity of 8,700 pounds, other amounts are available from another engine and on certain trim levels that may be better suited to your lifestyle.
