Continue reading to learn more about the Gladiator and everything it has to offer Park Ridge and Forest Park drivers. These trims are your opportunity to make this Jeep pickup truck your own.
The Jeep Gladiator features a 3.6-liter V6 engine, capable of producing 285 horsepower. It’s mated to a 6-speed manual transmission, but also features engine stop/start technology, which will shut the engine off when at a stoplight or otherwise idling, to help save fuel in the process.
Much like a Jeep Wrangler, the Gladiator Sport has a removable top and doors, so if you want to enjoy the fresh air and sunshine on a beautiful spring or summer day, you can do just that. The durable steel bed also features a three-position tailgate, making it easy to enjoy a weekend away from it all, while still having some of the niceties you enjoy from home.
With the Trailer Tow Package, you’ll have:
- 240-amp alternator
- Class IV receiver hitch
- Heavy-duty engine cooling technology
- Trailer hitch zoom through the backup camera
Plus, you can tow up to 7,650 pounds with this Jeep pickup.
Gladiator Sport S
While the base edition of the Gladiator features a capable 5-inch touchscreen, this trim comes with the available Uconnect® 4 with a 7-inch screen, along with Apple CarPlay® support and Android Auto™ integration. It takes just a few taps to link a compatible smartphone to the screen for access to text messages, music, and more.
The 17-inch silver aluminum wheels upgrade the exterior appearance on the Sport S trim, while the power windows, power heated mirrors, and power locking doors and tailgate make your life a little bit easier while driving.
If you are indeed heading out to a weekend adventure, the optional 115-volt power outlet in the truck bed is a must-have, particularly if you want to bring an appliance or another comfort of home with you.
The 7-inch touchscreen display comes standard on the Overland trim, but that means you have the opportunity to upgrade to an even larger screen, an 8.4-inch option which makes navigation easier.
The 18-inch Granite Crystal aluminum wheels stand out, as do the side steps and body-color fender flares, giving the exterior a bolder look.
While the 6-speed manual transmission gives you control over shifts, you can opt for an 8-speed automatic transmission on this trim. This transmission is able to adapt shift points based on the driving conditions to provide a smooth ride and maximum torque to the wheels.
The Rock-Trac® 4×4 system is standard on the Rubicon. This system gives you control and more torque, for off-road performance that allows you to crawl over rocks at low speeds, with a torque increase at the wheels. This system has up to an 84:1 crawl ratio.
The 33-inch off-road tires are designed to make any adventure off pavement more fun, while the FOX® shocks offer a refined ride even when the trails get a little bumpy.
The available forward-facing TrailCam Off-Road Camera helps you navigate various obstacles. Displaying an image on the touchscreen, this camera will let you know if you’re getting too close while crossing streams or tackling rocks.
