Northfield Flag Football Memorial Day Classic Tournament

Back for the 3rd year in a row, the 2023 Memorial Day Classic is an exciting opportunity to compete with the most competitive adult men’s flag football league in all of Chicagoland – with cash prizes, vendors, food trucks, and family fun.

Northfield Flag Football is an adult men’s flag football league that was founded in 1989 to foster community spirit by bringing people together and encouraging a sense of community and camaraderie. By participating in local leagues and tournaments, teams provide a platform for individuals of all ages and backgrounds to connect, build relationships, and develop a shared passion for the sport. This sense of unity extends beyond the playing field, creating a stronger and more tightly knit community.

This year’s 3-day tournament will take place from May 26 to 28.

Dr. Joseph G. Schmidt Shamrock Golf Outing

We’re proud to continue our annual sponsorship of the Shamrock Golf Outing, a fundraising event held annually on the second Monday in June to benefit the Tuition Assistance Program for the young men of Saint Patrick High School.

This special event serves as a beacon of hope for the young men of Saint Patrick High School, providing them with vital tuition assistance. The golf outing follows a captivating best-ball scramble format, creating an atmosphere of friendly competition and camaraderie. Prizes await the winners, and the day culminates with an exquisite dinner. The Shamrock Golf Outing generally raises over $100,000 for tuition assistance.

Chicago Police Memorial Foundation’s Annual 5K Run to Remember

Marino Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram is a proud annual sponsor of the Chicago Police Memorial Foundation’s Run to Remember, an annual 5K run/walk that raises funds to support families of fallen and catastrophically injured Chicago Police Officers.

On June 17, 2023, Chicago Police Memorial Foundation will hold the 19th Annual Run to Remember at Gold Star Families Memorial and Park. 5,000 runners and walkers are expected to participate in the chip-timed 5k Run/Walk along Chicago’s beautiful lakefront. All proceeds benefit the families of Chicago’s fallen and catastrophically injured Chicago Police officers.

Chicago Police Memorial Foundation’s Annual Golf Outing

On August 7, 2023, Chicago Police Memorial Foundation will host its 19th Annual Golf Outing at Cantigny Golf Club in Wheaton, Illinois. Register to join us as we spend the day on this beautiful course supporting Chicago Police Memorial Foundation! Registration includes golf with a cart, golfer gift, breakfast/lunch for morning golfers and lunch/dinner for afternoon golfers, with available tee-times from 7:30am – 4:00pm. All proceeds will directly support the families of fallen and catastrophically injured Chicago police officers.

Edison Park Fest 2023

We’re looking forward to another great weekend at this year’s Edison Park Fest, an event which began in 1972 as a sidewalk sale and has grown into one of the most popular neighborhood street festivals in all of Chicago. This annual community fundraiser welcomes nearly 20,000 attendees throughout the weekend, with proceeds used for beautification projects throughout the area, free community programs such as Santa Express, support of local community, civic, and school fundraisers, as well as the daily operations of the Edison Park Chamber of Commerce whose goal is to promote business in Edison Park.

Mark your calendars for August 11-13 to join us at this three-day affair, which will be packed with live music, fun activities for the kids, delicious food from local vendors, live performances, games, and other fun activities.
