About Fire Buddies

Fire Buddies was created with a singular mission: to support children who are fighting critical illnesses. When a child is diagnosed with a life-threatening condition, the entire family is affected. Fire Buddies steps in to provide not only gifts and once-in-a-lifetime experiences but also ongoing emotional and physical support. Whether providing needed medical devices, offering a firefighter’s smile during a home visit, or creating lasting friendships, Fire Buddies stands by these families long after their first encounter.

The organization is currently making an impact across 10 states, with 107 chapters actively supporting over 115 children. Each month, Fire Buddies expands its reach, welcoming six new children into their family. Through fundraising, donations, and the dedication of firefighters and volunteers, Fire Buddies ensures that these children experience “More Good Days,” no matter how tough the battle ahead may be.
